If you’ve already received your Fund Award Notification from Clean Air Greater Manchester, please contact our team on 020 7886 4747 or email us at cleanair@htb.co.uk. We are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
The Greater Manchester Clean Air Zone is expected to launch on 30 May 2022. The Zone will reduce harmful air pollution on local roads, making our city-region safer for everyone.
Private cars, motorbikes and mopeds won’t be affected. However vans, HGVs, coaches, minibuses and taxis that do not meet emissions standards will be charged to drive in the Clean Air Zone.
Government funding is available to help eligible Greater Manchester people, businesses and organisations move to cleaner, compliant vehicles and not have to pay a daily charge.
Hampshire Trust Bank is an approved finance provider for the Greater Manchester Financial Support Scheme. If your vehicle is subject to Greater Manchester Clean Air Zone charges, we can help you secure funding to upgrade your vehicle. Depending on how you choose to upgrade your vehicle, that could be a grant, or finance, offering a low-cost option as close to 0% as possible by utilising the funding amount, which you would pay off in installments for an agreed period. The amount would depend on the vehicle.
You can find out if your vehicle is impacted by the zone and might be eligible for funding support at www.cleanairgm.com.
If so, contact us on 020 7886 4747 or email us cleanair@htb.co.uk to speak to our team and see how we can help you prepare for cleaner air.
HTB purchases your chosen vehicle for you and leases it back to you in exchange for agreed repayments over an agreed term.
This is 100% tax deductible, and you can get on the road straightaway, without high, upfront costs or mileage restrictions.
When the agreement comes to an end, with HTB’s permission you can sell the vehicle on to a third party and receive 95% of the sale amount.
