Hampshire Trust Bank supports £5.7m residential seaside development

Hampshire Trust Bank’s Property Finance team provided a loan to Sigma Homes for the redevelopment of a site in Hove.

The project, which has a gross development value of £5.7m, involved the demolition of an existing bungalow and the construction of three large contemporary detached houses.

Each of the houses has five bedrooms, off-street parking, a garden and views of the Brighton and Hove coastline.

Graeme Walker, Director of Property Finance at Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “This is exactly the type of project we are delighted to support. This is a high quality development by an experienced property professional, providing spacious family housing in one of the most prestigious and popular parts of Hove.

“The houses have sea views and sized at 4,000 square feet each, offer well-proportioned family accommodation including a large master bedroom suite, with bedroom, dressing area, bathroom and separate study / nursery.

At Hampshire Trust Bank we are focused on building long lasting business relationships and we hope to work with Sigma Homes again in the near future.

Geoff Potton, Managing Director of Sigma Homes, said: “Working in partnership with Hampshire Trust Bank has been very straightforward and I have found their approach to and understanding of the development process exceptional. I look forward to working with them again soon.”
